[Page 2] E. 89 C.M II.106 The University of Adelaide Parnaroo Lands Tender for letting The Treasurer has to report the receipt of the following Tenders for a Lease of the 15000 acres of land at Parnaroo in terms of the Registrar's Advertisement viz:- No.1. Patrick Dowd J.P., of Farrel's Flat, at 9 3/4 per acre equal to £609.7.6. per an: No.2. James Shannon at 8d per acre equal to £500per an: No.3. Peter Waite at 6d per acre equal to £375 per an: and will erect a substantial fence of six wires around the block. The Treasurer recommends the Council to accept Tender No.1 as the Tenants must fence to make the land valuable to them and any fences erected will have to be kept in repair.
