The CRC for Welded Structures is a Cooperative Research Centre involving: The University of Adelaide, The University of Wollongong, CSIRO Division of Manufacturing Technology, ANSTO, BlueScope Steel, Welding Technology Institute of Australia, Agility, APIA, CIGWELD, DSTO, OneSteel, Connell Wagner, University of Sydney, University of Western Australia and Woodside energy as the principal partners. The mission of the Centre is to achieve the effective application of new and improved welding technologies, primarily for metallic materials, for the advancement of Australian industry.
