Abstract: This paper presents the findings from a review of Australia's national security by Fellows of the Australian National Centre for Ocean Resources and Security (ANCORS). The review aimed to inform the 2008 Defence White Paper and concurrent Australian security policy development processes, including the Homeland and Border Security Review. The outcomes are intended for consideration by members of the National Security Committee of Cabinet and their senior advisers, and to inform the broader Australian public.
