|Abstract:||Ruwuru, or Ruwarung, is the Ngarrindjeri-Ramindjeri name for the beach spring 350 metres southwest of the jetty ruins at Port Willunga, as remembered by Aboriginal people from the Encounter Bay and Lakes region (such as Albert Karlowan and Reuben Walker) who travelled regularly to Adelaide in the late 19th century. There is no record of the name in times of first contact. It is ‘just a name’, with no known meaning.|
