Abstract: | The article focuses on the impact of nutrition and diet on oral health. It discusses how nutrition and diet impact several oral diseases including periodontal disease, enamel developmental defects and oral infections. It states that poor nutrition decreases the immunity power which may lead to oral infections. It mentions that the consumption of fruits, vegetables and wholegrain food reduces the amount of fat and prevents chronic diseases. |
