Abstract: Microneedle patches have become an exciting means for transdermal delivery of various therapeutics. Herein, we report on self-sterilizing dissolving nanosilver-loaded microneedle patches created from carboxymethylcellulose capable of suppressing microbial pathogen growth at the insertion site.
