Abstract: | Dr. Camille Roulière was the Winner of the 2019 Bill Cowan Barr Smith Library Fellowship. Using concepts of spatial poetics Rouliere explores a range of acoustic manifestations and sonic interventions around Australian waters and particularly the waters of the Murray – from natural to artificial or engineered sounds (and silences), their ecological relationships, and their expression in composition. |
