Abstract: Concentrations of minimal medium components and fermentation parameters were optimized for high level constituitive expression of recombinant methionyl porcine growth hormone in E. coli. Improved yields were obtained when the magnesium concentration was reduced, and the ammonium chloride concentration increased.
