| Abstract: | Studies the synthesis of substituted hydraxy and amino vinyl triflates and their applicability to undergo an intramolecular palladium-catalyzed carbonylation reaction. Optically active monocyclic and bicyclic [alpha], [beta]-unsaturated [ga-lactones and the monoterpene(+) mintlactone were synthesized. |
