Abstract: This research is part of the SA Water and Cooperative Centre for Water Quality and Treatment project entitled Destratification for control of phyloplankton. The major objective of this project was to assess a novel method of destratification and control of cyanobacteria, in particular Anabaena circinalis Rabenh. ex Born. et Flah, with the use of raft-mounted mechanical surface mixers with draft-tubes.
