Abstract: | The pathogenesis of Peyronie's disease (induratio penis plastica) is unclear, but immune phenomena appear likely to be involved. Two cases are presented where the condition developed in temporal association with a virological response to highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) in men with HIV infection. It is suggested that this may represent another manifestation of immune restoration disease. |
