Corrected by: Corrigendum to “Microalgal biomass for bioethanol fermentation: Implications for hypersaline systems with an industrial focus” [Biomass Bioenergy 46 (2012) 79–88], in Biomass and Bioenergy, 2013; 58:406-407, The authors regret that an error occurs in Table 4 and in the review narrative where biomass production has been discussed. The error does not affect the relative comparisons made nor change overall conclusions of the review, yet, may mislead readers on this particular underestimated productivity parameter for the biomass sources discussed. A corrected Table 4 has been included in this corrigendum. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. Acknowledgement also included.
