dc.description.abstract | This paper proposes and implements a novel control technique for a PMAC motor drive with minimum a number of sensors. In the control scheme, the required three-phase voltages and currents are reconstructed from DC link measurements, and then the reconstructed voltages and currents are used to estimate rotor position with the robust position estimation algorithm. The estimated rotor position and the reconstructed phase currents can be used as feedback signals to implement the closed loop control in real time. The experiments demonstrate the feasibility of the implementation of the PMAC motor control with only two sensors and the motor drive has reasonable performances for some low cost applications. © 2012 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg. | - |
