dc.description.abstract | Hydroperoxide derivatives of β-oxa-substituted polyunsaturated fatty acids were prepared by 15-1ipoxygenase catalysed oxidation and perketal derivatives of fatty acid hydroperoxides were synthesized. The perketals are more stable than their parent fatty acid hydroperoxides, but less active as antimalarial agents in the in vitro growth inhibition of Plasmodium falciparum. | - |
