Abstract: This thesis describes the implementation of a Drug Usage Evaluation (DUE) program in an Australian hospital setting, principally the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) and investigates the feasibility of collecting quantitative drug utilisation data from Australian public hospitals in an effort to provide baseline data from which to commence national DUE activities.
