Abstract: We isolated 14 polymorphic microsatellite loci for the western Atlantic tropical seagrass, Thalassia testudinum, using two different enrichment procedures. Polymorphism was screened among samples from Mexico and Panama. Allelic diversity varied between three and 17 alleles per locus, and expected heterozygosity ranged from 0.271 to 0.859.
