The purpose of the Plan is to preserve the cultural, historical and environmental assets within the municipalities of Bethlehem, Beit Jala and Beit Sahour. The Plan addresses the capacity development of local authorities, professionals and communities in conservation planning, urban sociology and land management related fields through a participative planning process aimed at increasing public awareness on cultural heritage protection.|
