Abstract
Examines the distribution, biology and ecology of the Anguina-type nematodes and the bacterium Rathayibacter toxicus which are associated with flood plain staggers, a disease similar to annual ryegrass toxicity. Possible pasture and livestock management options to control the disease are discussed, as is biological control using the fungus Dilophospora alopecuri.
