Abstract
A multimodal anthology of works created through an international collaboration partnership between the University of South Australia and Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Contributors include Higher Degree by Research Candidates, Postgraduate Researchers, and Early Career Academics. The creative works are presented across media including film, music, visual art, poetry, and flash fiction. All explore fresh and interesting metaphors for lived experiences of conducting research, thus aiming to open new ways of representing and conceptualising research processes beyond the over-used and problematic journey metaphors that currently dominate.
