Abstract

In her book Hatred and Forgiveness (2010, p. 150), Julia Kristeva argues that “a contemporary version of the unconscious appears to be emerging that includes the prepsychical and even Being.” For this new outlook, which Kristeva contends is essential to modern European psychoanalysis, theoretical and clinical insights blend to restore a conceptualization of human subjectivity that is always put into question.
