Abstract
This paper presents a model to determine the number of manufacturer's and buyers' shipments, production cycle length and production sequence simultaneously in a three-level supply chain system. The system comprises of a number of distributors, single manufacturer/ assembler and multiple part suppliers. The objective of the model is to find a set of the decision variables which minimize the average total relevant costs of the entire system.
