Abstract
In this article, the problem of dissipativity-based consensus is considered for polynomial fuzzy multiagent systems (MASs) with switching directed topologies. First, a novel polynomial fuzzy modeling approach is proposed to describe the error dynamic system which is formulated by a virtual leader and follower agents. Then, consensus control protocol is designed to guarantee that the MASs under switching topologies can reach an agreement. By the polynomial Lyapunov function technique, relaxed sufficient conditions are presented to ensure exponential consensus with a strictly dissipative performance for the underlying systems subject to external disturbances. The derived conditions are converted into sum of squares and can be numerically solved. Finally, an illustrative example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the new design scheme developed.
