Abstract
This paper aims to conduct a systematic review of theresearch trend on retirement village development by exploring the emerging key themes. Bibliometric data was retrievedfrom Scopus using some selected keywords. The bibliometricdata was analyzed using the VOS viewer. The review resultsshowed that publications on retirement village developmentincreased steadily from 1968 to 2013. Also, the most product-ive countries of retirement village literature are Australia, theUnited Kingdom and the United States of America. Lastly, theliterature on retirement village revolves around five broadareas. The outputs inform future researchers of the emergingknowledge areas.
