Abstract
Analysis was performed on potential Myb target genes in order to investigate the over-expression and structural alterations of the Myb transcription factor, which has been observed in many tumors and leukaemias. Another aspect of this work was to examine the role that Myb plays in the process of apoptosis and a significant increase in the viability of the ER-Myb cell line grown in the presence of active Myb compared to cells grown in the absence of active Myb was found.
