Abstract
As a response to the changes in journalism and media (Josephi 2014) I have worked as CI, designer and creator along with other internal and external stakeholders to design, test, implement and refine the VR 360 editing, viewing and distribution app called Immerse as a means for users to create stories utilising both narrative and technology. This app allows users (students in COMM 3081 at present) to address elements of storytelling immersion, interactivity and grammar in a novel and technologically aware manner. This is an original NTRO and Immerse won the innovation in journalism award at the JERAA national journalism awards.
