Detailed field and geochemical studies favour essentially a marine glacial depositional environment for the Yudnamutana Sub-Group sediments. Contemporaneous faulting, primarily by the Hamilton Fault during deposition of the Yudnamutana Sub-Group, is evident from the field and geochemical studies. The geochemical data is discussed in the light of previous geochemical studies throughout the world on similar sediments to those found in this study.enHonours; Geology; Adelaidean; Umberatana Group; geochemistry; depositional environment; sedimentary faciesThe geology and geochemistry of Adelaidean sediments in the Mount Painter Province area with special emphasis on the Lower Umberatana GroupThesis
