Severe pyogranulomatous pleuropneumonia with intrahistocytic acid-fast beaded filamentous bacilli was seen on histology. M. pinnipedii was confirmed by full 24-loci mycobacterial interspersed repetitive-unit-variable-number tandem-repeat (MIRU-VNTR) typing. Spillover concerns for public health and cattle are discussed.enCopyright 2014 by American Association of Zoo VeterinariansArctocephalus pusillus doriferus; free-ranging; mycobacterial interspersed repetitive-unit–variable-number tandem-repeat; Mycobacterium pinnipedii; tuberculosisMycobacterium pinnipedii tuberculosis in a free-ranging Australian fur seal (Arctocephalus pusillus doriferus) in South AustraliaJournal article003001952410.1638/2014-0054.10003470809000392-s2.0-84920120912166690Boardman, W.
