Despite damage to our specialty, the injured party often benefits little, if at all, from the process. Potential solutions include an emphasis on evidence-based medicine, a qualification and review process for medical experts, and a more rational and fair health court system.enHumansCerebral PalsyRisk FactorsObstetricsLiability, LegalMalpracticeMaternal Health ServicesUnited StatesObstetric litigation is asphyxiating our maternity servicesJournal article002006179410.1097/01.AOG.0000220531.25707.270002412968000252-s2.0-3374560115352040
