Simulations and experimental testing are conducted to determine the optimal parameter selection with this modulation technique which results in increased output power while maintaining the phase current at its rated value. A surface permanent magnet generator from a commercial 400 W wind turbine is used for the simulation model and experiments. The results obtained using this technique are compared to those obtained using conventional SMR modulation as well as inverter operation.enDetailed investigation of semi-bridge switched-mode rectifier for small-scale wind turbine applicationsConference paper002008541810.1109/ICSET.2008.47471440002687495001832-s2.0-6294917799040005Soong, W.
