Emphasis is put upon the important role played by ρ0-ω mixing effects in the estimation of the CP-violating asymmetry parameter, a<inf>CP</inf>, associated with the difference of the B and B̄ decay amplitudes. A thorough study of the helicity amplitudes is presented as a function of the pion-pion invariant mass. All of the calculations and simulations considered correspond to channels which will be analyzed at the LHCb facility.enDirect CP violation in B → π+π−V with ρ⁰–ω mixing effects: phenomenological approachDirect CP violation in B -> pi+pi -V with rho(0)-omega mixing effects: phenomenological approachJournal article002003007110.1140/epjc/s2003-01219-00001846394000072-s2.0-004291476359105Thomas, A.
