Solid substrates were coated with an indium tin oxide electrode which was then electrically insulated with a thin layer of an amorphous fluoropolymer. DC and AC potentials were applied to small (few μL) droplets contacted with a platinum wire, and contact angle, capacitance and base area under the droplet were tracked and compared.enSolid-liquid interfacesWettingElectrowetting of ionic liquids in solid/liquid/liquid systems /thesis
