Using Porter's competitiveness factor analysis method, this study employs a SWOT technique to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of FPMCEs' operation in China. Data used in the analysis stem from multiple sources including literature survey, statistical reports, regulations and policies.
