Abstract: The recently commissioned, Ross Independent Living Units at Mobilong Prison on the outskirts of Murray Bridge presents new innovations in Australian prison architecture. For the first time, medium security prisoners will be housed in self-contained duplex accommodation, a stark contrast to traditional cellblocks used under typical medium security regimes.
