dc.description.abstract | Compared with other regions, cooperative energy sector development between the countries of North-East Asia has to date remained unexplored. This situation appears to be changing, largely as a result of the intervention of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), which has recently organised a North- East Asia Expert Group Meeting on Inter-Country Cooperation in Electric Power Sector Development. This article explores the recent developments in this field and considers the legal issues that may emerge over time. | - |
