Abstract: | As professors of language and literature, we aim for our students to develop advanced skills in research and analysis, coupled with a profound understanding of languages and cultures. Since cultures are perpetually in flux and in contact, and since learning about cultures and languages is a life-long process that does not finish at the end of the semester or on graduation day, we developed a longer program of study that encompassed research, international travel, and reflection. |
