Abstract: | There is strong evidence supporting the use of low-dose aspirin in the secondary prevention of cardiovascular events in patients with type, diabetes but the evidence is less robust in primary prevention. Also, aspirin use can be associated with serious gastrointestinal haemorrhage. |
