Abstract
In this study the behavior of unbonded post-tensioned concrete walls is investigated using experimental results. The displacement ductility of unbonded post-tensioned concrete walls is studied and the general behavior of PT-CWs is examined. The accuracy of an analytical approach to predict the force displacement response of such walls is investigated using experimental results. The analytical method considers displacement compatibility and geometric compatibility conditions. According to the results, the approach can successfully predict the lateral strength, stiffness and neutral axis depth and the general behavior of the test walls, hence, is recommended to be considered for design purposes
