Abstract
Concerns about the influence of music media on youths' attitudes and behaviour have been evident since the rise of mass music media. The debate about the impact of sexualised media on young children is a recent development and commonly draws on theoretical perspectives with limited empirical evidence. The present work develops and deepens the theoretical debate and provides empirical evidence.
