Abstract

A community project, which involved collaboration between the University of South Australia, the Dunjiba Council, the Oodnadatta Health Services, and the Aboriginal Primary School at Oodnadatta, has won the Meritorious Award from the Society for the Provision of Education in Rural Australia. Its cross-cultural partnership in health aims at enhancing the health of Indigenous children in South Australia and has been applauded for providing rich and meaningful learning experiences for primary school children while benefiting the whole community.
