Abstract
In 2007, the University of South Australia conducted its first 'Introduction to Adventure Therapy' course as part of a study stream in Outdoor Education. This paper reports on the process of developing the curriculum for this course, the resultant learning program, and evaluations by students, staff and employment providers. Implications for future introductory adventure therapy courses for tertiary students are discussed.
