Abstract

With the growth of all kinds of Web services on the internet, how to discover the services which can meet the user's personalized and diverse requirements is a key problem that needs to be resolved. This paper proposes an on-demand service organization and recommendation approach based on the user's role, goal, process and service models specific to a domain problem. Firstly, the Role(R), Goal(G), Process(P), and Services(S) models that are related to a domain problem is created. Then the services is organized according to the corresponding models and the dependent relationships among the RGPS elements. Three recommendation algorithms are also designed according to the different representation types of users' requirements. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is validated through experiments, and the developed platform is introduced in combination with the practical case.
