| dc.description.abstract | The mental health of remote mining workers has been a heated topic in the Australian media over the last decade. This has arisen in part due to concern over the great distances mining workers travel to and from work, typically via plane, living on site for days or weeks at a time and then flying home to rest for a proportionate number of days. Questions have been raised about the intensity of their work periods, the separation from friends and family, and the experience of isolation. | |
