Abstract
This study examines the adequacy of the existing coastal management structure in South Australia with respect to its effectiveness to cope with increasing demand and conflict for coastal resources. It examines the function, role and effectiveness of each level of Government in the protection and management of the coastal zone and its important natural resources.
