Abstract
This article presents the description of changesin terms of maternal, neonatal and child health due to theinitiatives of Manoshi Project by Bangladesh RuralAdvancement Committee (BRAC). Analysis of changes isalso highlighted here. BRAC started the Manoshi Project tobring skilled care into the informal settlement of six majorcities in Bangladesh in 2007. Three core methods includingsocial mapping, census tacking and community engagementwere adopted to achieve the aims of Manoshi project. Thisproject has successfully reached to the most vulnerablewomen and children with very low cost and minimuminfrastructure. The Manoshi Project has empowered thecommunity through social mobilization, advocacy andcommunication.
