Abstract
The thesis tracks consumer buying and brand performance (market share growth and decline) across various brand and category conditions, changes in brand performance measures and marketing mix factors over a long period (one, five and ten years). The thesis provides a robust benchmark for market share stationarity and the influential brand and category conditions on share growth and decline with the level of association with the changes in brand performance measure and marketing mix factors over an extended period.
