Abstract

Superior handover processing techniques are vital in meeting the Quality of Service requirements of future mobile communication services. In this research we propose a handover strategy that can be used to improve performance of cellular networks. We measure the performance of the network in terms of the operating utilisation which satisfy the Grade of Service blocking probabilities for all users in the network.
