Abstract
Modernism + Modernist SA architecture, 1934-1977.Venue: ODASA, Adelaide.Organisers: Phillips/Pilkington Architects and the UniSA Architecture Museum.The text outlines the contemporary history of five building materials used in SA at the time: Portland cement, steel, glass, asbestos cement, & elastomeric sealants. It accompanied an exhibition of 80 or so works of architecture from the period, mostly in Adelaide.
