Abstract
Magnetite nanoparticles coated with the copolymers of di(ethylene glycol) methyl ether methacrylate and poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether methacrylate can reversibly agglomerate in physiological media in response to the environmental temperature, which can dramatically enhance the mangetic performance of their loaded erythrocytes, such as a stronger attraction to external magnetic field and a better contrast in magnetic resonance imaging.
