Abstract
Routine quality assurance (QA) of a linear accelerator is critical to the effectiveness of radiation treatment for cancer. The studies reported in this thesis demonstrate the potential for using Electronic Portal Imaging Devices for quality assurance tests with the aim of improving the accuracy and efficiency of radiotherapy QA.
