Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate how teachers enact transdisciplinary approaches in an international school. This study followed the learning experiences of three cohorts of primary school students and their teachers, in grades 2, 4 and 5, as they engaged with transdisciplinary units of inquiry over a period of five to seven weeks.Information was gathered through classroom observation as well as through formal interviews with students and teachers. In addition, information was collated from school level documents and interviews conducted with staff to provide insight into the school level structures that influence classroom instruction.
